Mary Burke’s commitment to Humboldt County’s 5th District is based on the values of health, community, and collaboration. As a longtime community member, Mary has dedicated her career to finding agreement on shared values and taking action to address the issues of our rural area.

In her decades of public service, Mary has:

- Improved vital services in our rural community
- Advocated to make streets safer and for better access to transit
- Improved function of public works facilities
- Restored local salmonid habitat
- Fought for more self-governance
